Avondale Caravan Data & Specfications

Avondale's Rialto 2 berth model was ranked in the top 3 of its category in the Caravan Club's 2001 Tourer of the Year Awards, as a result of its Italian inspired design and practical layout. The Rialto is a spacious, high specification, 2 berth caravan and features front and rear GRP panels, an Al-Ko stabilising tow hitch and a removable hinged locker lid.

Originally supplied by Martin's of Exeter, this example is Cris registered and the caravan comes complete with all the manuals and paperwork for both the caravan and the internal equipment. It was last serviced in July 2015. This caravan has an extremely practical 2 berth layout. At the front, the spacious lounge area features two single beds or a large double, utilising a pull out slat system mounted under the chest of drawers, which has a fold-out table. There is plenty of storage in the overhead lockers and also under the seats. Above the seating area is a large opening Roof light. The soft furnishings are cream and terracotta in Avondale's ‘Orchid' pattern and the carpets are also terracotta in colour. Lights are situated above both the single beds. There is also a collapsible table, which may be stowed in its own cupboard when not in use. All of the furniture inside the caravan has Avondale's Beechwood finish.

A well-appointed kitchen is positioned in the middle section. The kitchen has a Spinflo Caprice 4 ring hob, grill and oven, and Electrolux 3-way fridge with ice box. There is ample food/utensil storage space and worktops. Opposite the kitchen are cupboards, a clear-fronted cabinet for glasses, shelves and more useful work top space.

The very spacious bathroom at the rear of the caravan has a large sealed shower cubicle, Thetford C-200 cassette toilet (manual flush), sink, mirror, cupboards, shelves and a wardrobe.

All windows are fitted with independent blinds, curtains and fly-screens. The caravan is fitted with Truma Trumatic blown air heating /space heater and Truma Ultraheat water heater.

There is an awning/exterior light, exterior gas BBQ point, exterior 240v socket, Alko hitch stabiliser, gas assisted handbrake, and there is also a smoke detector inside the caravan.

The caravan is also fitted with a working ‘E-Go' remote caravan mover which makes a very simple job of manoeuvring and siting this caravan on tricky riches or driveways.

Included in the sale is a full Sunn Camp Prestige awning, and an additional porch awning, and the caravan comes with an array of extras including: 25m electric hook up cable and storage bag, towing mirrors, a clothes drying rack, 40l Waste-master and storage bag, 40l Aqua Roll and storage bag, Status TV aerial, smoke detector, door step, Al-Ko hitch-lock, an unused Maypole caravan cover, wheel-lock, Fiamma levelling ramps and chocks plus storage bag, 1 x propane gas bottle, crockery, various kitchen utensils, pots and pans and more.

As the photographs shows, this is a well-presented example of an older caravan which does have some issues, and is priced accordingly. There has been a previously repaired leak and, like many older caravans, damp is present in the front section of the caravan. However, apart from some slight bubbling of the wall board, there are none of the usual signs of damp such as damp smell or mould. The caravan has been in regular use and recently used for family holidays. It would be ideally suited as accommodation for use whilst undertaking a building project, as a spare room, or a worthy project.

At this price, the caravan has not been serviced or damp-checked and is sold ‘as seen'.
